Tiffany Baer graduated from University of Geneva with a Master of affective and applied psychology. Her main interests focus on emotional processes underlying economic decision making and working motivation.

From 2012 to 2014, Tiffany worked as a research assistant on different projects on emotions at University of Geneva and at the Swiss Center for Affective Science (Switzerland). In 2014, she had the opportunity to work as an intern at the Geneva Motivation Lab (University of Geneva, Switzerland) on effort and goal commitment in working context.

Following this internship, she worked as a visiting researcher at the Stanford Psychophysiology Laboratory (Stanford University, California) on emotion regulation and coping strategies.

Currently, Tiffany is a PhD candidate under the supervision of Professor David Sander and Professor Véronique Tran (ESCP Europe, France), in collaboration with Professor Jochen Wirtz (National University of Singapore). She got a grant from the Swiss National Foundation for Science for her very own PhD project. Her research focuses on emotional processes underlying valuation of luxury goods and brand expansion.
