In the "Science building", we are in room 352 (third floor) of Science II. This is the building closer to the river. Ask the porter...

By car

We do not recommend coming by car to the Sciences building which is in the center of Geneva. Due to many construction sites, driving in the city is very time consuming and it is difficult and expensive to find public parking. Below you find the directions from Google maps. For the closest public parking area follow Quai Ernest Ansermet until Uni Mail (ca. 1 km) or go to Rue David Dufour.

By train

Take tramway 14 (direction: P+R Bernex). Get off the tramway at “Jonction” and change for either bus 2 (direction: Genève-Plage) or bus 19 (direction: Vernier-Village). Both these buses depart from the “Rue du Vélodrome” that you reach by crossing the “Rue des Deux-Ponts” in front of the tramway. These buses will bring you to “Sainte-Clotilde”, the closest bus stop from the Sciences departments. For directions from the bus stop, read the instructions below (“Walking from the “Sainte-Clotilde” bus stop to the Sciences department”). For bus maps and timetables, see the TPG website.

By plane

Follow the signs inside the international airport Cointrin to the bus stop. You can get a free ticket before the customs check. There is a machine that dispenses free tickets for people flying into Geneva.

Take either bus line 10 (direction: Rive) or bus 5 (direction: Thônex-Vallard) and stop at “Bel-Air”. Change for bus 19 or bus 2 (direction: Onex-Cité) and stop at “Sainte-Clotilde”. For directions from the Sainte-Clotilde bus stop to the Sciences Departments read the instructions below. For bus maps and timetables, see the TPG website.

Walking from the bus stop “Sainte-Clotilde” to the Sciences II building

At the “Sainte-Clotilde” bus stop, turn left in the Rue Sainte-Clotilde (at the rear of the bus) and left again into Boulevard d’Yvoy. After about 100m, you’ll see the entrance of the Sciences III building on the right hand-side.
